Timeout Beach Series 2018
We use one sand court for the whole tournament, each category will play one after the other throughout the day. A category (e.g. 2-a-side Ladies) will be limited to 5 teams. The teams will play three timed rounds. 1st round – 20 minutes, 2nd round – 15 minutes, FINAL round – 15 minutes. The teams with the lowest points in the first and second rounds will be eliminated and the FINAL round will decide the podium positions among the last 3 teams in the category.

In 2015, Kalahari dune sand had been special transported in to make three unique beach volleyball courts especially for this event. It took the Schreiber family (Reinhold, Kirsten, Dennis & Damian) 3 months to prepare for this event, with tons of sand being transported from the nearby Kalahari dune. This location was specially picked to complement the beach volleyball image; sun, sand & the great outdoors, which make this tournament one of the most unique beach volleyball tournament in the world!

The Bank Windhoek Beach Bash Volleyball 2018, will be hosted at the beautiful setting of Long Beach, the perfect combination of sun, sea, sand & dunes.
The volleyball tournament is part of the Windhoek Draught Beach Bash 2018. It's a place where the waves of sound and the ocean meet. A sensation felt so deep, it brings out the bass in you and turns the beach into a magical dream of pure fantasy. Some say it's the Vegas of Long Beach, others say it's new found life on earth. All we know is, it's the Windhoek Draught Beach Bash Vol 6.
