Start of the 2019 Kamikaze Inline Hockey Season
Kamikaze Inline Hockey is back on the DTS Big Blue for some action packed hockey games. We welcome all new players to join our Inline Hockey Family.
So what makes the Kamikaze family unique? The most important trait for our club, are the tight friendship bonds we nurture. And nothing is more exciting for us to see how our teams grow, welcoming new players. And you do not need to be anxious, if you still need to learn to skate or up your fitness level. Mind you, we also just returned from holidays and need to work on our fitness condition.
With regards being a beginner - we sure have a spot for you! We have a dedicated beginners class on Mondays and Wednesdays from 14:15 - 15:15. Our Coach Andrew, all the way form Canada, will teach you all the tips and tricks required for Inline Hockey. With his international experience and qualifications, we have world class skills to take you to the next level.
Apart of having the opportunity to play in the Namibia Ice and Inline Hockey (NIIHA) League, this sport also offers you the opportunity to earn a spot in a National Namibian Team. National Teams represent Namibia Inline Hockey for example in the Africa Cup, hosted in Swakopmund or other selected world events.
So why should you start playing Inline Hockey? Inline Hockey is a great way to participate in a fitness activity that benefits both, your body and your mind. So, if you have a pair of inline skates, get them out of the closet to:
- Improve mental clarity and connectivity
- Increase range of motion
- Improve balance and coordination
- Improve endurance and strenght
To try the sports, Kamikaze supplies all equipment for beginner players at no extra fee for a trial period of 3 months.
Join us for our Open Day, 26.01. at 16:00, or any suitable training session, and experience the promise we make!
